Epoxy Resin tops are molded into a solid ket-black casting combining outstanding strength with chemical and thermal shock resistance. Several hours of high temperature curing developers maximum physical strength and chemical resistance.

Laminated Plastic tops are built up of plastic sheet (Formica, Wilson Art, Micarta, etc) in standard colors bonded with water resistant adhesive to a 1 1/8" thick solid core particle board. All exposed edges are bonded with the same material as the top surface providing a top thickness of 1 ¼". Also available in chemical resistant materials.

Stainless Steel tops, curbs and reagent shelves are fabricated of 16-gauge, type 302, 304 or 316 with a #4 finish. All corners, open ends and joints are continuous hellarc welded and ground smooth. Adequate box channel reinforcements are provided on the underside of the tops. An effective sound-deadening material applied to the underside. Curns and box backs can be formed as an integral part of the top. Field joints where required, can be supplied as either "butt joints", "butt and calked joints" or "soldered joints" as required by specifications. Stainless steel sink bowls and cup sinks are integrally welded into the top providing a joint-fee assembly.
